 you already have already found the journal article, you can check if it comes from a peer reviewed journal by checking in EBSCO's Serials Directory.  Access Ulrich's by clicking on the Database by Title page and select S. 

Once the database is open, type in the name of the journal you found the article in (eg:  Journal of Advanced Nursing).  There will be a field in the record called Peer Reviewed.  It will say either yes or no.

If you only want to search for articles that are peer reviewed, some databases will allow you to limit your search by 'peer review. For example, in CINAHL you can type in your keywords then scroll down to the 'Limit your Results' section and tick 'peer reviewed'.
